Piedmont

Piedmont is an Italian region bordering France and Switzerland, located at the foot of the Alps. It is known for fine cuisine and wines, such as Barolo. The capital is Turin, which offers numerous examples of Baroque architecture and is home to the famous Mole Antonelliana, with its very high spire. The Turin Automobile Museum is dedicated to the main industrial activity of the city, while the Egyptian Museum displays archaeological and anthropological collections.
